Rod Jacobson, Hospital Administrator, is a native of Montpelier, Idaho and has been serving as the Hospital Administrator since 1985. Rod traveled 160 miles south to the University of Utah to obtain his Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. He also has degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry as well as being a registered lab technician and x-ray technician.

In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Rod has served on the Boards of the Idaho Hospital Association, Blue Cross of Idaho, the Regional Representative of the American Hospital Association, the Idaho Rural Health Education Center, and Idaho State University's Associate Degree Registered Nurse Program.

Rod is very active in community development and community events and enjoys coaching baseball, teaching snow skiing, fly fishing, hunting and camping. His wife Peggy and four children and five grandchildren enjoy all that living in Bear Lake County has to offer.
