Dr. Adam Matthews- Podiatrist   Patient Admit Forms

Dr. Matthews main office is in Pocatello but will be seeing patients and performing surgery at BLMH twice a month. Dr. Matthews is another hometown boy that got a medical education and now wishes to return and treat the citizens he spent his childhood. Dr. Matthews, after graduating from Bear Lake High School, attended Idaho State University on a track and field scholarship; later served a two-year mission for the LDS Church in Canada before graduating from Idaho State with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. His educational direction changed following his marriage, he was introduced to the wonderful profession of podiatry through his father-in-law who is also a podiatrist. Dr. Matthews attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, where he earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his Surgical Residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Matthews and his wife, Krista, have four children; two girls and two boys. Dr. Robert R. Jones, M.D., Ophthalmology

Dr. Jones did his undergraduate work at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in premedical studies. He attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He was one of six students from a class of 175 elected by the faculty to Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.  In his junior year, he was the recipient of the Lange Medical Publications Award for outstanding achievement. He completed internships in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah and its affiliated hospitals in Salt Lake City and thus a fully qualified General Practitioner of Medicine. Dr. Jones then completed an extensive Residency in Surgery and Diseases of the Eye at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In his final year at Mayo, he served as Chief Resident of the Department of Ophthalmology. He is a board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is one of only a few physicians to be granted re-certification by the Board in 2003. Dr. Keith J. Nelson, M.D., Orthopaedic Care   

Dr. Nelson is a Cache Valley native who has always been involved with sports. His love for sports is what inspired his practice and speciality in sports medicine. He takes great pride in surgically repairing injured athletes and assist them with getting back to the game. He followed his graduation from the University of Utah Medical School with orthopaedic training at the University of Southern California. Dr. Nelson then completed his fellowship training under E. Marlowe Goble, M.D. in sports medicine and knee disorders. Dr. Nelson is an innovator who works as a consultant developing new arthroscopic tools to aid in surgery. Dr. Ryan H. Larsen, M.D., Urology   Patient Admit Forms

Dr. Ryan H. Larsen graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1985. He works in Logan, Utah and one other location and specializes in Urological Surgery. Dr. Larsen is affiliated with Brigham City Community Hospital, Bear River Valley Hospital, Logan Regional Hospital and Cache Valley Hospital. He speaks English and Spanish.

Dr. Larsen’s also works with a Nurse Practitioner, Jimmy Jones. He works in Logan, UT and specializes in Urological Surgery. Mr. Jones is affiliated with Logan Regional Hospital, Brigham City Community Hospital, Bear River Valley Hospital and Cache Valley Hospital. Mr. Jones speaks English and Spanish.
