Meet the Clinical Team

Ramsey R. Miles

Ramsey R. Miles, DPT – Ramsey is the Director Rehabilitation for Bear Lake Memorial Hospital.  He attended Utah State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Human and Movement Science with a minor in Spanish. Ramsey graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in May 2015. He specializes in Vestibular Rehab and Orthopedics. He began his professional career at Mountain Land Rehabilitation. He became the Director shortly after that and worked with outpatient orthopedics. His clinical internships included; U of U Orthopedic Center, U of U Hospital ICU and Acute Rehab, U of U Hospital Neurological Rehab.

Ramsey loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Whitney, and daughter, Brynlee. He enjoys working on cars and is restoring a 1965 Chevy Nova. He likes being outside, hiking, snowmobiling, camping, and snowboarding.  His office is located in the hospital, and he can be reached at 208-847-4417.

Greg Hyde

Greg Hyde, DPT – Greg attended Southern Utah University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. After completing his undergraduate studies, Greg attended Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions where he earned his clinical doctorate of Physical Therapy. He participated in 52 weeks of clinical experience as a graduate student. There he developed skills in various fields. Greg was mentored in a rigorous manual therapy experience with an emphasis on back pain management, post-operative physical therapy, and sports therapy. Additionally he has developed skills dealing with other disorders including vertigo, torticollis, and balance training for diverse patient populations.

Greg is a passionate fishermen, husband, and father. He enjoys spending time outside, and loves taking his wife and kids out on the river in search of aggressive trout.

Will Crane

Will Crane, DPT – Will has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. He specializes in orthopedic, wound care, and sports medicine.  He did his clinical affiliations in Utah, Idaho, Virginia, and North Carolina. Will has practiced at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital since 2011 with a wide variety of patients and prides himself on helping clients recuperate.

Will enjoys the outdoors, including sports for all season. He has three children and a lovely wife. Will loves being back in Bear Lake and looks forward to many more adventures.

Justin Brunner, DPT

Justin received his Bachelor Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from the University of Utah and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University. He has experience treating vertigo, lower back pain, and orthopedic rehab.

He enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, backpacking, hiking, fishing, and four-wheeling. Justin is married with three children. He was born in southern California, but spent his teenage years in Hyrum, Utah. He remembers driving over the mountain to swim at Bear Lake, or carve powder at Beaver Mountain and will now get to enjoy that more often.

Frankie Rasmussen

Frankie is a Physical Therapy Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Sociology from Brigham Young University – Idaho and her Associate of Physical Therapy Assistance from Idaho State University. She has been with Bear Lake Memorial Hospital since 2013 and has also completed two clinical rotation at both Intermountain Health Care’s St. George locations.  She has also received eight weeks of aquatic training.

She loves to read, ride her bike, play boardgames, and travel.

Jordan Hobbs

Jordan Hobbs, PTA – Jordan is a Physical Therapy Assistant. She graduated from Idaho State University with her Bachelors of Science and Health Science along with an Associates in Physical Therapy Assistance.  She specializes in therapeutic exercise, balance and gait training, manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, aquatic aerobics, and sports medicine. Her experience is in outpatient orthopedics, aquatic therapy, and outpatient/inpatient treatments.

Jordan is originally from Paris and excited to share her experience with the Bear Lake Valley.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She loves playing sports, riding 4-wheelers, camping, crafts, and movie nights.

John Beenfield

John Beenfield, OTR/L – John received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Southern Utah University and his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Utah.  As an occupational therapist, John assists in rehabilitation and helps people gain independence in their life through performing functional self-care tasks. John also treats upper extremity dysfunctions involving the hand.

John enjoys outdoor recreation, music, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Saunja Carlson, MS, CF-SLP

Saunja attended Idaho State University for her Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, with highest honors. Saunja completed her clinical externship at Portneuf Medical Center. Additional clinical experiences include: tele-therapy, skilled nursing, schools, private practice. Saunja especially enjoys helping the adult population with their speech, language, and dysphagia (swallowing) needs. She and her husband Dennis have four beautiful children. Saunja enjoys crocheting, quilting, playing the piano, riding with Dennis on their Harley, and spending time as a family. They recently moved to the Bear Lake area and love it here!

Mandy Tingey, SLP

Mandy comes highly recommended and has a wide variety of experience, especially with the pediatric population. She is excited to get to know the community.
