She obtained her nursing education through the ISU/Hospital program and recently graduated with her RN in August. She is currently working in Dialysis, Acute Care and is also the Hospital Lactation Counselor. June has two daughters and is very excited to become a Grandma in July.

June’s dream vacation would be to go to Greece because of the history, but she would also be okay going anyplace that is warm. Her hobbies include fishing and waterskiing. She loves to travel and is excited for her upcoming trip to Washington D.C. this summer.

June loves to learn and try new things. She is usually up for any new adventure that comes her way and would really like to learn how to snow ski. She and Dr. Thakur have had several discussions regarding her concern of falling and he keeps telling her to just do it.

June’s love is in Dialysis. She feels that the morale within the department in amazing and she is grateful for the bonds that are created with the patients and rest of the staff.

Zach Phelps, Dialysis Administrator, raved about June noting that she “has been an excellent addition to the dialysis staff. Not only does she have excellent clinical skills, but she continually goes out of her way to make sure that each patient feels like they are the only person in the room. She always maintains a positive attitude and brightens the day of everyone around her with her wit and charm. Bear Lake Memorial is privileged to have her on our staff, and I am thrilled to say that she is a member of my team especially.”

Congratulations, June, for your Above and Beyond efforts!
